Tithing is a biblical principle from the Old Testament where God calls us to give a portion of our income back to Him. The word tithe means 10%, however people can give more or less than that - whatever they are able. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances.
17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment... 19 In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life. - 1 Timothy 6:17-19
Offerings are different to tithes. They’re financial gifts given separately to tithes. The Bible doesn’t command us to give offerings, but it does encourage us to give generously, and offerings—since they aren’t required—reflect the generosity in our hearts.
"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
- 2 Corinthians 9:7
When you give to WBC, God does something amazing; He multiplies your
gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine!
Your giving becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do
His work here on earth. And He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in
your community and around the world through local and global missions partners.
Know that we honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices,
and full accountability so that the financial integrity of WBC remains beyond reproach.
If you prefer cash giving, you can do so in-person onsite.
