Can a series of books that were written by many different people, over more than 1,000 years, still be relevant over 2000 years later?

Afterall, there are so many options available online these days - is going to an actual building at a set time still necessary? In these days of overcommitment, we may find ourselves time poor with church attendance adding just one more thing to our busy schedules. Others who have been hurt by a church in the past leaves them wondering if it’s even worth the risk.
Did you know God created us to have community with each other as the Body of Christ?
This week’s readings will help us see God’s heart for His Church and our world!
Sometimes it doesn’t seem like it if we’re being honest! Then there’s the people who think that God is already going to do what He wants so what’s the point? However, the Bible has a LOT to say about the importance of cultivating the habit of prayer. Throughout both the Old and New Testament, talking to God was an integral part of their relationship with Him. We’ll unpack that a bit through our Bible reading this week as we focus on the conversational aspect of our faith journey—prayer!
Did you know that in any typical church, only about 20% of the people who attend regularly do 80% of the volunteer work? We’re not sure why this happens, but we do know that to really feel a part of the community it means getting involved in serving together!
A healthy church needs everyone involved and doing their part so you don’t miss out on using those unique gifts and skills God has given to you! This week we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about serving in the church. It is time to Find Your Fit!
That may depend on where you’ve come from. We often hear people say they avoid talking about religion or politics because it’s divisive. However, statistics indicate people today are far more open to conversations about faith than we think. Did you know that a third to half of people surveyed said they would consider coming to church if invited?
The Bible encourages us to tell others about Jesus—it’s as simple as sharing how meeting Him impacted you! This week we’ll dig into scriptures and find the answer to the question ‘Do I really need to share my faith?’
This short answer is, “What God really wants is your heart!”
We know that our all-powerful God has all the resources in the world at His disposal, so why would he need my money? While it’s true God is able to sustain His work without you, He desires to see you grow to trust that He will provide your needs when you put Him first! This often looks like supporting your local church financially so we can Multiply Hope in our community and around the world.
