... we are Christ's body and it’s only as we accept our part of that body does our part mean anything.

Karen Children’s Choir

Last Sunday I went to the Karen service as I do every month. The service included songs from 3 choirs – an adult one, a youth one and a children’s choir.

The children’s choir started their item by reciting the reference from the Bible that the song came from. Obviously it was in Karen so I leaned over and asked Gail Moe, our Karen Pastor what the reference was. He replied, “Revelation 2:10”. I thought about this and couldn’t recall it – it is not one the Scriptures that I keep in my memory. So I looked it up – here it is;

“Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.” Revelation 2:10

Know any kid songs like that? Didn’t think so! Gives you some perspective though doesn’t it.
