On Thursday our Nation celebrates 224 years since Arthur Phillip and the First Fleet arrived in Australia to establish a penal colony. Despite the immense hardship and deprivations eventually the colony was established.

224 years later we are a mature, diverse democratic nation. We have been blessed by vast natural resources and stable government and as such, always rank in the top 2 or 3 on the UN’s Human Development Index. However this prosperity has assisted our nation to turn its eyes from God and church attendances overall have declined.
