Werribee Baptist Church

Womens Ministry at Werribee Baptist Church is a vibrant, engaging and faith-filled, interdenominational ministry focused on connecting women from all walks of life from within the WBC family and across the Wyndham City boundaries. We invite you to come and encourage and be encouraged, be equipped, mentored, loved and challenged in the Word of God. There are no strangers at WBC, only friends we have not met yet. Various groups gather during the year to provide opportunities for women to engage regardless of their circumstances. Please say hello to any of the Women’s Ministry Team Ladies when you see them around, we are here to serve you and make you feel at home: Karen, Sharyn, Toula, Lyn, Irene, Anisa & Lizelle.

Soul Sisters gather on the last Friday of each month during February to November, so grab your Bible, invite a friend along and if you like making yummy things, bring a plate to share while we get to know each other, hear of God’s goodness through testimonies and teachings and pray for each other. You will be warmly welcomed!

Bible studies are run at various McDonalds outlets across Wyndham. We follow a Bible reading plan covering the Old Testament over two years and the New Testament in one year using the SOAP-ing method. No preparation needed, so pick a spot and day that suits you, set your alarm and bring your Bible, journal, pen and an open heart. You are most welcome to just pop into different dates/venues as they suite your life circumstances. We know that you will be greatly encouraged in the Word.

A focused Bible study method helping you to grow in knowledge of the Word and your faith as you journey through one book at a time in a small group setting. Various groups gather in homes at different times. Contact the Church office to connect you with a group that fits your needs.

We are greatly blessed to have a small group of faith-filled women who are committed to pray for women about their unique needs. If you need confidential prayer support, please drop a note into the church office box in an envelope marked for the Women’s Ministry Prayer Team or send an e-mail to lizelle@werribeebaptist.org.au. and we will be praying with and for you in whatever season you travel through.
