In his role as the Senior Pastor at WBC, Mark leads the pastoral and eldership teams in oversight to the church. Mark's Biblical preaching and visionary leadership provides a strong foundation to the teaching and direction setting ministries of the church. We have been greatly blessed through marks teaching, team building's gifts and sensitivity towards discerning Gods agenda for the church. Mark loves to help people find a place in our family and since coming on to staff in July 2004 has achieved much in mentoring those in key ministry roles.

This includes oversight to the Young adult ministries, Sunday evening ("iGnite") services, church family ministries and playing a key role on the worship team. Kimberly has pioneered many new ministries in our church and her ability to oversee mentor and motivate those within the ministries has seen much fruit. Her vibrant personality, gift of communication and insightful preaching has also facilitated a continual blessing of energy and life amongst us since coming on to staff in July 2003.

Jeff Benson
(Associate Pastor)
Jeff's primary role on the pastoral team at WBC is in oversight to the worship and small group ministries of the church. He also plays a key role on the youth leadership team and looks after a few other things like IT and AV. His great passion for truth and desire to see people transformed by it make him a dynamic preacher and leader. His strong musical talents and experience are also a key asset to our church and God has indeed blessed us greatly through his heart for worship. Jeff has served in various ministries since coming to WBC since 1989 and has been on our pastoral team since January 2008.

Drew Millar
(Associate Pastor)
Drew's role on the pastoral team at WBC is in oversight to the pastoral care ministry of the church. He is ably assisted in this role by his wife, Cath. Under the banner of pastoral care, Drew oversees and actively participates in the welcoming / integration, visitation, counselling and recovery ministries of our church. His humility, sensitivity and heart of compassion underpin all that he does and we're immensely blessed to have him amongst us. Whilst Drew has been fruitfully immersed in pastoral care since coming to staff in February 2007, his vision is to see the whole congregation pastorally caring for one another.

Cath Millar
(Chaplain – Pastoral Care & Women's Ministry)
Cath joined the staff at WBC in January 2010 and works in Pastoral Care alongside her husband, Drew. In her role Cath oversights Women's Ministry at WBC plus a number of other ministries such as "Connect" (over 45's ministry), and "Careforce Lifekeys". Cath is very passionate about helping women and mentoring them in their journey of life. Her desire is to see them set free to rise up and live out their faith based on the truth of God's Word. Cath & Drew often work together with couples to help them journey through marriage difficulties and build strong healthy marriages. Cath is also the Chaplain at the local Wyndham Park State School 2 days a week where she has been called to be God's light to the kids, their parents and teachers.

Fiona Black
(Playgroup Coordinator)
Fiona is passionate about the importance of playgroup and has a heartfelt interest in families with young children. Understanding the challenges that parenthood can present, Fiona places great emphasis on providing a playgroup that is welcoming and supportive to families with a warm desire to share the love of Jesus with all who attend. She delights in her role overseeing a team of amazing volunteers, planning playgroup curriculum, tending to enrolments and day to day administration. Fiona joined our team in June 2009.

Kalli Green
(Church Accountant)
Kalli is WBC's number crunching guru and is primarily responsible for most of the financial dealings of the church – including that record keeping, payroll, bills and financial reporting. The reporting work that Kalli produces enables the leaders of the church to make informed decisions when it comes to our finances. And we shouldn't fail to mention that her exceptional cooking skills also ensure that at staff meetings those decisions aren't made on an empty stomach! Kalli has been on staff since July 2001.

Mandi Hutton
(Administrative Coordinator)
Mandi provides Administrative oversight of the church office. She enjoys the challenge of formulating procedures to facilitate good communication and smooth running of various ministries in a growing church. Mandi is highly skilled professional with a heart for seeing people connect with Christ and in service to His church. Mandi has been employed in the church office since July 2005.

Mala Josiah

Should you have an inquiry during the week at WBC, Mala is most likely the one you'll first come into contact with. Beneath her warm / friendly personality lies a heart for seeing people grow in faith and passionate relationship with Jesus. Mala has been employed in the church office since September 2009.

Nancy Seedhom
(Ministry Assistant – Youth & Kids Department)
Nancy plays a major role in the facilitation and administration of WBC's Youth and Kids ministries. There's always a lot going on at WBC relating to youth and children; with multiple ministries, family events, camps, leaders retreats and programs happening all over the place! Thankfully, Nancy's great administration skills keep us well organised in all those things and we are so blessed to have her on the team in that capacity. Nancy also has a big heart for young people and so they too are directly blessed by her role in co-ordinating KidZone, giving kid's talks (in church) and serving on the youth leadership team.

Sue Wild

Sue's role in the church is as Coordinator of BaseCamp3030, which provides respite for families in Wyndham that have a family member with a disability. Sue is married to Barry and has three adult children and 5 grandchildren. She has been part of the WBC congregation since 1999 and came to Christ in 1988. He has been a Christian since his teens, serving the Lord in Baptist churches in Tasmania and Geelong before coming to Werribee Baptist in 1981. Tony is a do-er, he enjoys being involved in projects - currently leading the Finance Task Force and the WBC grey army of maintenance men on Tuesdays. He is very encouraged to see what God is doing amongst the people at WBC. He also serves on the Heathdale Christian College Board.

Max Coster (Elder)
Max, and his wife Joan, are relative newcomers to the church leadership team. Appointed as an elder in 2009, Max's interests have been in promoting the church as a 'family', with all ages working in harmony. Max sees his role as an encourager to others who minister faithfully in the name of Jesus. Our church is blessed with many fine young leaders and helping them explore the balance between the many competing interests in their life is a privilege.

Andrew Blazey (Elder)
Andrew and his wife Yolanda came to WBC in 1992 and have three sons and one daughter-in-law. Both Andrew and Yolanda have such a beautiful heart for people and so have been a huge blessing to the church in every ministry role they have served in. Andrew believes that it is the greatest privilege and honour to serve God and longs to see His people grow Spiritually. Andrew loves being part of the leadership team at WBC in the fulfilment of Christ's mission to build His church (Matt 16:17-18). Andrew's guiding principle in his appointment to eldership is "I am here to serve the Lord in whatever way He uses me".

Barry Wild (Elder)
Barry and his wife Sue have been part of the congregation at WBC since 1999, they have three adult children and 5 grandchildren. Barry came to Christ in 1987 and has moved around the country with his family as a member of the Airforce participating in Baptist churches at each location.
